Confessions of a Failing Dental Student

Ameri Plan

Have you ever tried yo be your own dentist because you didn't have any dental insurance plan . I’m 52 years old and this is my story. Two years ago I had an abcess tooth. I didn't have dental insurance and did not have a job to pay the bills. I was experiencing extreme pain in the above the neck. To the point that I started having headaches because the infection had already spread to my right eye. My right side of my face was already swollen. After a while I gave in and called the dental office for an appointment.

They told me I had to have $240.00 up front before they would see me. It was only to get my tooth removed. The appointment wasn’t for another five days and I didn’t know if I could have tolerated the pain that long. I did'nt even have the funds for the dental procedure, no credit cards and it was the middle of the month. So I sat there and cried in pain. I decided I was talented enough to pull my own tooth. I tied a string on it just like I used to do with my own children when they were little. I almost passed out after the first pull because of the incredible pain on the side of my face. So I cried some more. I held that string to my chest and prayed. All of a sudden I could feel the tooth sliding out. At that point it came out without any pain. I did not realize that I could have died from so much infection.

Fortunately I am here today to share my testimonial, so others don't go down the same road. A job like this should be left to professionals. Now I have my www ameriplan usa and I can actually see a real pro now. Thank you, Ameriplan.
